Quick & Easy, Healthy Milkshake -Kid Approved

imageAre you having trouble getting your kids to drink their milk? Would you like a healthy treat without all the added sugars? This isn’t your traditional milkshake (no ice cream here) but your kids are sure to gobble down this delicious alternative.

Banana Milkshake

1 banana, frozen or fresh

2 cups milk

or

Berry Shake

1 cup berries, any kind or mix, frozen or fresh

2 cups milk

For either recipe, place ingredients in a blender and blend. Serve and enjoy. Each recipe make 2 servings.

For some added fun get the kids involved. Have them place the ingredients in the blender and press the button to see everything get mixed up. They are sure to enjoy it. Just make sure to cover little ears as things are sure to get noisy.
